Eagles Awarded No. 4 Seed In USCAA National Volleyball Championships

For the first-time in KSU Tuscarawas' young volleyball history, the Golden Eagles received a bid to the USCAA national tournament late Wednesday afternoon. The navy and gold missed the post season in 2022 by just one point.

There's no doubt that a loss in a dual match over the weekend sent the 15-3 Eagles into a first round matchups against the tournament's top seeded team as they fell into a No, 4 seed. On Thursday, November 9th the Eagles will begin pool play against over-all No. 1 seed Penn State Mont Alto at 9:00 a.m. The Eagles defeated Mont Alto 3-2 on a neutral court earlier in the season.

Playing in Pool 'A', the Eagles second match will be against No. 5 seed Central Maine Community College on Friday, November 10th. at 11:30 a.m. The winners of pool 'A' & 'B' will take on the runner-up of the opposite pool in the semifinal round of the championship bracket late Friday afternoon for a chance to play in the national championship match on Saturday, November 11th.

Overall, the Golden Eagles finished the regular season with the No. 2 schedule power ranking.
