With just one lone returning runner from last year's squad, the Kent State Tuscarawas Cross Country teams looked for leadership from veteran Garrett Bradley and they got it. Bradley finished 36th in the men's 8k race at the Westminster Invitational and showed the younger Golden Eagles how to fight through the hot, humid 89 degree temperatures and a very aggressive start to the race. Running in her first race ever---Mallee Vazquez who did not run in high school---finished a respectable 52nd to lead the women.
