Stotzer Hired To Lead Malvern Baseball

NEW PHILADELPHIA, OH --- July 14, 2022 12:30 p.m.

Golden Eagles Baseball alum, Kyle Stotzer, has been hired to take over the baseball head coaching reins at Malvern High School. Primarily a third baseman/second baseman, he is a 2021 graduate of Kent State Tuscarawas with a Bachelor's of Science in Early Childhood Education and was a five-time letter winner and three-time team captain for the navy and gold. The United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) recognized Stotzer as an All-American after his senior season and he was also a three-time recipient of USCAA Academic All-American honors.

"Kyle is one of the hardest working athletes I have ever met," said Rob Brindley, Kent State Tuscarawas Athletic Director. "He has a real passion for baseball and not only being the best athlete he can be, but the being the best person he can be as well. Kyle is probably one of the most well-liked student athletes we have ever had on campus and we are very proud of what he has accomplished in such a short time. He will be a great leader for the young Hornets and we wish him all the success in the world."
