Long Layoff Dooms Bobcats in Heart-Breaking Defeat

BUFFALO, NY – It had been 17 days since they last stepped on the floor together, and the long, unexpected layoff was too much to overcome as the Bobcats of Bryant& Stratton Buffalo fell 60-58 to Kent State Tuscarawas on Saturday afternoon.  The Bobcats failed to get much going offensively, shooting just 30.3 percent for the game and failed on last second opportunity to win the game as a late three-point shot was off the mark.

BUFFALO, NY – It had been 17 days since they last stepped on the floor together, and the long, unexpected layoff was too much to overcome as the Bobcats of Bryant& Stratton Buffalo fell 60-58 to Kent State Tuscarawas on Saturday afternoon.  The Bobcats failed to get much going offensively, shooting just 30.3 percent for the game and failed on last second opportunity to win the game as a late three-point shot was off the mark.

RaeQuan Scott, Kalon Kimble and Denzel Fuller each scored 13 points for Buffalo with Scott and Fuller connecting on three triples each.  Kimble finished with a team-high 10 rebounds.  Despite the 10 rebounds by Kimble, the Golden Eagles thoroughly out-rebounded the Bobcats by a 51-33 margin.  DeJuan Lawrence finished with 13 points and 15 rebounds.  

Buffalo forced 31 turnovers, a season-high, but could not take advantage as it led to just 23 points.  Sam Dorissaint and Nahshon Sylvester each scored six as well for Buffalo.

UP NEXT: The Bobcats will remain at home for a Wednesday night clash with Bryant & Stratton Rochester at 7 p.m. Buffalo upended Rochester on the road 86-68 back on November 21st.
