Golden Eagles Women's Hoops Sign Tusky Valley's Stotzer

Kent State University at Tuscarawas is announcing the signing of a 2019 Tuscarawas Valley High School senior to their basketball team. On February 15, 2019, Megan Stotzer signed a National Letter of Intent to play basketball for the Kent State Tuscarawas Golden Eagles.

Stotzer, was a two-year letter winner for the Lady Trojans basketball team and is also a member of the Trojans cross country and softball teams. At Tusky Valley, she has also participated in choir, pep club and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. She plans on majoring in Early Childhood Education at KSU Tuscarawas.

"Megan is a wonderful young lady and a great acquisition for our basketball program," said Wallace Stuchul, Head Women's Basketball Coach for Kent State Tuscarawas. "She will be a great asset to our campus and is a great fit for the type of program and offense that we are looking to establish. Her coach at TVHS, Matt Ward, said that we are getting a great kid and I fully realize that, and am thankful to have her."

Kent State Tuscarawas is a member of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA).
